02:53 AM EDT, 10/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Swedish Orphan Biovitrum's (SOBI.ST) board proposed the appointment of Börje Ekholm as the company's new chair, according to a Thursday release. The biopharma company's shareholders will vote on Ekholm's appointment at the 2027 annual general meeting. If elected, Ekholm will succeed David Meek, who has decided not to seek re-election. Ekholm previously served as chief executive officer of Ericsson (ERIBR.HE, ERIC-A.ST, ERIC-B.ST).
