05:18 AM EDT, 10/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bouygues (EN.PA) outlined a non-cash impairment of 569 million euros on its stake in French audiovisual company TF1 ahead of releasing its nine-month financial statements on Nov. 5. The construction, energy, telecom, and media group said Friday that TF1's carrying amount in the group's consolidated balance sheet for the first nine months of 2026 will drop to 2 billion euros as of Sept. 30, representing 9.67 euros per share, compared with 15.36 euros previously. The impairment is also expected to reduce the net profit attributable to the group. The write-down follows four consecutive quarters of sharp declines in TF1's linear advertising revenue amid an increasing shift into online platform advertising. Bouygues, however, reaffirmed its confidence in TF1's digital transformation of its business model.
