11:09 AM EDT, 10/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research reiterated AstraZeneca's (AZN.L, AZN.ST) buy rating following the drugmaker's third-quarter financial results amid expectations of a "very busy" pipeline path for 2027. The group reported total revenue of $16.2 billion in the quarter, up 7% year over year and 2% ahead of consensus, the research firm wrote in a Friday note. Core EPS also grew 17% over the period to $2.79, beating market forecasts by 8%. "AZN stock down post eplon/S4 fails & BMY speculation (drives LOE and pipe strength debate). Pipe data needed to rebut and we see AVANZAR positive risk-reward and excited for busy '27E (AVANZAR/CAMBRIA1/Farxiga LCM/oPCSK9/PARPi)," analysts said, viewing the valuation as "attractive". "Overall, we are excited about a very busy 27E with several large PIII readouts," BofA added. "Our conviction calls are sizeable and high-probability PIIIs for CAMBRIA-1 (SERD adjuvant switch) and balci/dapa (Farxiga FDC in HF with CKD), with sauraparib(PARPi, early-stage prostate). We see PIII data offering upside to existing FY30E $80bn sales guide and growth post key LOEs." The stock's price objective stands at 165 pounds sterling.
