Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP Plunge 4%: A Dip Worth Buying?

Listen to the news

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) and XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) are down over 4% on the day as chart analyst Ali Martinez identifies key levels where investors could consider buying the dip.

Can BTC Find Support At $73,000?

In an X post on Oct. 30, Martinez noted that Bitcoin faced rejection after retesting its 50-day moving average as resistance, subsequently falling toward $78,000.

He identified the 200-day moving average near $73,000 as the next major support level to watch.

Martinez plans to reassess potential buying opportunities around that level.

A sustained recovery above the 50-day moving average could improve the short-term outlook, while continued selling pressure could bring $73,000 into focus.

ETH Eyes $2,000, XRP Risks Drop To $1

Martinez warned that Ethereum appears to have broken below a right-angled ascending broadening pattern on its daily chart suggesting a potential decline toward $2,000.

The analyst would look at that level for signs of support before considering a buying opportunity.

On the other hand, XRP has traded within a parallel channel since February but recently breached its mid-range support during the sell-off.

Failure to reclaim that level could expose XRP to a deeper correction toward the channel’s lower boundary near $1.
