Rimini Street just released its Q3 2026 results, and the stock rose 24.3% in the first full session after the announcement, moving from US$3.99 to US$4.96. The headline is simple: profitability improved sharply, with basic earnings per share at US$0.07 on quarterly revenue of US$112.1m, in a business still carrying balance sheet issues such as negative shareholders’ equity and meaningful debt.
That is the sentiment shift. A one day spike is celebrating cleaner income and higher margins, while largely setting aside the longer-running capital structure concerns that still affect the company.

Billings jumped far faster than revenue this quarter. Ask Charlie what’s really driving Rimini Street’s billings surge.
The bullish setup around Rimini Street treats AI governance and ERP extensions as the next leg of recurring revenue. The claim is clear.
"Some bullish analysts expect Rimini Street to convert its shift toward an Agentic AI ERP and governance platform into stronger growth in recurring revenue and longer customer relationships over time."
Q3 moves this from theory into early execution. Subscription revenue reached 93.9% of total, adjusted annual recurring revenue rose to US$410.4m, and adjusted billings climbed about 22%. RPO increased to US$652.9m, with ex PeopleSoft commitments also higher. That mix, alongside improving EBITDA margin, indicates that the AI and governance story is starting to appear in contracted cash flows rather than only in presentations.

Bearish commentary argues that higher sales spend may never truly pay off for Rimini Street.
"Despite Rimini Street increasing sales capacity and pulling forward growth investments, with non GAAP sales and marketing reaching 35.8% of revenue in Q1 2026 and 37.6% in Q2 2026, adjusted EBITDA margins compressed to 8.4% to 9.5% compared with the prior 13.4% to 15.1%."
Q3 pushes back on that concern. Adjusted EBITDA margin reached 13.5% while revenue, adjusted ARR and adjusted billings all moved higher together. The miss is elsewhere. Many sellers are still ramping and partner sourced revenue remains in the low to mid millions, so proof of sustained leverage across 2027 is still absent.
Rimini Street just showed how quickly sentiment can swing when fundamentals and narrative start to line up. The real opportunity is spotting companies that could be undervalued before that adjustment happens.
