As you might know, Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Limited (NSE:PRUDENT) recently reported its second-quarter numbers. Results overall were respectable, with statutory earnings of ₹53.63 per share roughly in line with what the analysts had forecast. Revenues of ₹3.8b came in 4.7% ahead of analyst predictions. Following the result, the analysts have updated their earnings model, and it would be good to know whether they think there's been a strong change in the company's prospects, or if it's business as usual. We thought readers would find it interesting to see the analysts latest (statutory) post-earnings forecasts for next year.
After the latest results, the five analysts covering Prudent Advisory Services are now predicting revenues of ₹16.1b in 2027. If met, this would reflect a notable 9.8% improvement in revenue compared to the last 12 months. Per-share earnings are expected to climb 15% to ₹72.87. Before this earnings report, the analysts had been forecasting revenues of ₹15.2b and earnings per share (EPS) of ₹72.08 in 2027. There doesn't appear to have been a major change in sentiment following the results, other than the small lift in revenue estimates.

Even though revenue forecasts increased, there was no change to the consensus price target of ₹3,378, suggesting the analysts are focused on earnings as the driver of value creation. There's another way to think about price targets though, and that's to look at the range of price targets put forward by analysts, because a wide range of estimates could suggest a diverse view on possible outcomes for the business. Currently, the most bullish analyst values Prudent Advisory Services at ₹3,500 per share, while the most bearish prices it at ₹3,175. This is a very narrow spread of estimates, implying either that Prudent Advisory Services is an easy company to value, or - more likely - the analysts are relying heavily on some key assumptions.
These estimates are interesting, but it can be useful to paint some more broad strokes when seeing how forecasts compare, both to the Prudent Advisory Services' past performance and to peers in the same industry. The period to the end of 2027 brings more of the same, according to the analysts, with revenue forecast to display 21% growth on an annualised basis. That is in line with its 23% annual growth over the past three years. Compare this with the broader industry, which analyst estimates (in aggregate) suggest will see revenues grow 12% annually. So it's pretty clear that Prudent Advisory Services is forecast to grow substantially faster than its industry.
The most obvious conclusion is that there's been no major change in the business' prospects in recent times, with the analysts holding their earnings forecasts steady, in line with previous estimates. Pleasantly, they also upgraded their revenue estimates, and their forecasts suggest the business is expected to grow faster than the wider industry. The consensus price target held steady at ₹3,378, with the latest estimates not enough to have an impact on their price targets.
Following on from that line of thought, we think that the long-term prospects of the business are much more relevant than next year's earnings. We have forecasts for Prudent Advisory Services going out to 2029, and you can see them free on our platform here.
