Listen to the news

Key Points

  • Rocket Lab and ASTS announce their Q3 2026 earnings on Nov. 9.

  • For Rocket Lab, this is the first call since the space company postponed the Neutron launch.

  • Firefly reports on Nov. 10 and is coming off record revenue in Q2.

It's a busy time of the year for space investors. Space Exploration Technologies reported its Q3 2026 earnings on Oct. 20, and several other popular space stocks have earnings releases slated for November.

Here are two dates to mark on your calendar, along with what to watch for on each call.

Missed AI’s "Act 1"? Act 2 Could Be 15x Bigger. Most investors think they missed the AI boat because they didn't buy Nvidia in 2005. But according to our analysts, we’re only at the end of "Act 1"—the R&D phase. "Act 2" is the global rollout. Continue »

Not one, but two space companies announce their Q3 earnings after the market closes on Nov. 9: Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB) and AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ: ASTS). For Rocket Lab, this is the first call since it delayed the first launch of its Neutron rocket to 2027.

Investors should focus on any updates regarding Neutron and how Rocket Lab's results compare to its guidance of $250 million to $265 million in revenue and an adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) loss of $17 million to $23 million.

ASTS has delivered lackluster financial results recently, including four straight earnings-per-share (EPS) misses. The analyst consensus for Q3 is -$0.45 in EPS. Launch cadence is also worth watching as ASTS aims to build its constellation of satellites, with management targeting 45 in orbit by early 2027, up from 13 as of early October.

A day later, on Nov. 10, Firefly Aerospace (NASDAQ: FLY) reports its earnings after market close. Firefly has reported strong sales growth, with revenue reaching a record $117.7 million in Q2, up 659% year over year. However, gross margin has compressed to 20.3% from 21.6% in Q1, primarily due to urgent third-party hardware costs for a U.S. government program. Management has indicated that margins will expand going forward, so Q3 will be an opportunity to see whether it has begun moving in the right direction.

This has been a challenging back half of the year for many space stocks, including those three. Nov. 9 and 10 will give investors an idea of which leading space companies are executing the most effectively right now.
