Citi published a research report stating that in response to Prada's third quarter performance update, Miu Miu's business was further normalized, recording the first decline since the pandemic, ending five years of abnormal growth and market share expansion. Currently, the 2026 sales forecast has remained largely unchanged, and the 2027 and 2028 forecasts have been raised by about 2% due to the positive impact of exchange factors. According to the bank, the increase in the growth forecast for same-store sales has been largely offset by the lower contribution of store area. The fixed exchange rate sales growth forecast remained roughly 3%, 4%, and 4% respectively from 2026 to 2028; Prada's 2026 to 2028 EBIT forecast was lowered by 1%, 3% and 3%, and the earnings forecast per share was lowered by 1%, 4% and 5% respectively. Citi raised Prada's target price from HK$39.9 to HK$41.5, maintaining a “neutral” rating.
