According to reports, Buffett once told billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman that he hasn't drunk plain water in 48 years. Ackman said that Buffett came to his house for dinner “a few years ago,” and he specially prepared the legendary investor's favorite drink, Cherry Cola. After they were seated, he asked Buffett if he wanted pure water or sparkling water. Buffett politely declined and chose his favorite soft drink. “But I asked him, 'Aren't you drinking water? '” Ackman recalled. “He said, 'Bill, I haven't drank water in 48 years. '”
