04:02 AM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Thales (HO.PA) subsidiary Advanced Acoustic Concepts secured a $53.9 million US Navy contract to supply two remote mine-hunting modules and provide engineering support. The French defense technology company said Monday that options for additional modules could raise the contract's total value to $196.2 million. The system combines sonar, mission-management software, and remotely operated vehicle technology to help Navy personnel locate and classify undersea mines from safe distances.
