04:59 AM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Subsea 7 (SUBC.OL) secured a substantial contract from Aker BP (AKRBP.OL) covering pipelines and related subsea infrastructure for the oil and gas company's Lyra field development project offshore Norway. The contract includes engineering, procurement, construction and installation of gas lift and production pipelines and associated subsea infrastructure, according to a Monday release. Project management and engineering work are slated to start immediately, with offshore operations scheduled for 2026, 2027 and 2028. The offshore engineering and construction services company values a substantial contract at $150 million to $300 million.
