According to the Zhitong Finance App, Shanghai Airport (600009.SH) issued an announcement. The company decided to invest 100 million yuan with Shanghai Airport Hongyu Investment Management Co., Ltd. and other relevant partners to jointly invest in Shanghai Hongyu Zhihang Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership) (“Hongyu Intelligent Aviation Fund”) with its own capital. The target size of the fund is about 1 billion yuan, and the initial customs size is 585 million yuan.

According to reports, the fund's investment field is mainly in industries related to the low-altitude economy. Other areas cover new productivity directions that can be applied at airports: focusing on the construction of a low-altitude “four-network” integrated ecosystem and two major low-altitude industrial ecological chains supported by low-altitude aircraft and their supply chains, with low-altitude communication sensing, low-altitude operation management, and low-altitude operation equipment as the three main investment lines. Participating in the fund's investment will help the company extend its main aviation business advantages to the low-altitude sector, transform from an “air gateway” operator to a “three-dimensional transportation” organizer, effectively play the enabling service role of industrial investment in the main business, and continue to explore the application of innovative technology and create return on investment.
