10:19 AM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The board of Saudi Arabia's Capital Market Authority approved proposed regulatory provisions to improve initial public offering practices, according to a Monday notice. The provisions bolster the underwriter's role and responsibility in the IPO process and tighten the handling of orders placed during book-building. They also require issuers to disclose forward-looking statements and forecasts about their business covering the remainder of the latest financial period in the prospectus or registration document, and require financial advisers to exercise professional due diligence to reach a reasonable opinion on such statements.
