11:20 PM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (ABEA.F) Google agreed to grant the Prospect trade union the right to speak with its employees in the UK regarding possible membership, according to a Monday release. Prospect said it secured the authorization from the technology giant after the new trade union right of access took effect on Oct. 30. The structured access agreement allows for physical or digital meetings with non-unionized workers. Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
