11:24 PM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novartis (NOVN.SW) terminated its August 2025 agreement with BioArctic (BIOA-B.ST) to explore a potential treatment combining the Swedish biotech company's BrainTransporter technology with an undisclosed Novartis antibody. BioArctic said on Monday that the Swiss pharmaceutical group decided to discontinue the program and that the move is unrelated to its BrainTransporter technology. The company will keep the full $30 million upfront payment, and it will book the remaining unrecognized portion as revenue in 2026.
