HKEx continues to expand its derivatives portfolio to increase investors' choices and allow market participants to meet their trading and risk management needs more flexibly. The new stock futures contract will complement some of the most actively traded individual stock options on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, further enriching the range of derivatives with these stocks as related assets.

The first six months of the new stock futures contract will be exempted from the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission levy.
