06:47 AM EST, 11/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cadence Minerals (KDNC.L) said DEV Mineração completed hot commissioning of the Azteca processing plant at the Amapá iron ore project in Brazil, according to a Tuesday filing. DEV completed the work in 30 days, with the plant processing 6,200 wet tonnes of feed and producing 2,800 wet tonnes of concentrate, a mass recovery of 45%. Cadence Minerals expects that figure to move toward the 53% seen in July testwork on design-grade feed. The early-stage investment and development company completed the submissions needed to apply for an operating license for the Azteca plant, which is among its priorities for the rest of 2026. Cadence Minerals holds a 36.2% equity interest in Pedra Branca Alliance, which owns 100% of DEV, the owner and operator of the Amapá project.
