08:55 AM EST, 11/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Four passenger planes across Europe are being inspected amid suspected bomb threats, BBC News and other media outlets reported Tuesday. A flight operated by Poland's flag carrier LOT bound for Warsaw Chopin Airport from London Heathrow made an emergency landing at Modlin Airport in the Polish capital after receiving an alert. Meanwhile, a flight from Copenhagen to Warsaw, operated by Scandinavian airline SAS, was forced to land at Chopin Airport due to a separate threat. A Ryanair (RYA.IR) plane from Manchester to Murcia Airport in Spain and a flight from Israel to Sofia, Bulgaria, also received bomb threats. SAS confirmed the bomb threat against flight SK751 between Copenhagen and Warsaw in an emailed statement to MT Newswires. "The aircraft landed normally in Warsaw and the passengers have disembarked. ... The matter is now being handled by the police in Warsaw, and we are following their instructions." LOT also confirmed that it received "a potential security threat" on board flight LO286 from London to Warsaw and that the flight was diverted to Modlin Airport. "The aircraft security inspection has been completed, with no suspicious items found. Following border control checks, passengers were transferred to Warsaw Chopin Airport by coach." Ryanair did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
