FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyundai Motor America reported record October total sales of 73,452, a 5% increase compared with October 2025. Retail sales also set an October record at 62,646, up 9%. October total sales growth was led by Santa Fe (+52%), Kona (+21%), IONIQ 5 (+21%), Elantra (+17%) and Palisade (+14%), with Santa Fe and Palisade and their hybrid powertrains setting new October records. Hyundai's hybrid lineup set a new October sales record, rising 20% year over year and accounting for 29% of October total sales volume. Year to date, Hyundai total sales are 770,916, up 3% compared with the same period last year, while hybrid sales are up 50%.

• Hyundai Unveils the All-New Tucson, Its Boldest SUV: Hyundai revealed its best-selling global SUV in New York, pairing the "Art of Steel" design philosophy with a next-generation hybrid system targeting up to 42 mpg, the new Pleos Connect infotainment system and a tougher XRT PRO, expected to reach North America in 2027.
• Palisade Hybrid Earns a WardsAuto 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems Award: WardsAuto judges named the Palisade Hybrid powertrain to its 10 Best list for delivering efficiency in a three-row SUV while retaining mechanical all-wheel drive. The 2.5-liter turbo hybrid produces 329 horsepower with an estimated 619-mile driving range. The win is Hyundai's 18th product award in the program.
• Hyundai Introduces Pleos Connect in the U.S. on the All-New 2027 Tucson: The new Tucson is the first Hyundai in the U.S. to get Pleos Connect, a next-generation infotainment platform built on Android Automotive OS.
