MASON, Ohio (AP) — MASON, Ohio (AP) — AtriCure Inc. (ATRC) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $4.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Mason, Ohio-based company said it had net income of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 17 cents per share.

The medical device maker posted revenue of $154.5 million in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $151.3 million.

AtriCure expects full-year earnings in the range of 40 cents to 46 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $606 million to $610 million.

AtriCure shares have increased 53% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $60.35, a climb of 77% in the last 12 months.
