12:07 AM EST, 11/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tesmec (TES.MI) subsidiary Tesmec Rail was provisionally awarded a 42 million-franc tender by Swiss Federal Railways to supply battery-powered railway maintenance vehicles, the infrastructure technology company said Tuesday. The four-year contract covers the delivery of 24 battery-powered railway overhead line construction and maintenance vehicles, with options for five additional vehicles each. The final award is expected by the end of November 2026, and initial deliveries are scheduled between the end of 2028 and early 2029.
