He pointed out that the direction of the country's development is where Hong Kong's opportunities lie. It is necessary to make full use of Hong Kong's international platform and join hands with enterprises in Beijing and the whole country to explore the global market.
Ma Shiheng described Hong Kong as one of the country's most international cities and can provide all-round support for mainland enterprises to go overseas. As a core member of the HKTDC's special overseas business class, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council launched the “Overseas Travel Global Connect” this year. Through the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's network of more than 50 offices around the world and Hong Kong's international professional services, it can connect mainland enterprises with the international community, reduce risk, and open up “Belt and Road” markets such as ASEAN, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
He also mentioned that Beijing and Hong Kong have had close economic and trade exchanges over the years. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Zhongguancun Management Committee of the Beijing Science and Technology Commission will continue to promote the construction of a Beijing-Hong Kong science and technology collaborative innovation platform this year to promote the connection between innovation and technology resources between the two places.
