05:53 AM EST, 11/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg noted that Roche (RO.SW) expressed comfort with consensus sales forecasts for its upcoming breast cancer drug giredestrant, ahead of its anticipated December rollout. "We opened our annual CFO series with Roche this week. In an upbeat conversation, Alan Hippe shared high confidence in delivering good financial results in 2027. Roche is comfortable with consensus giredestrant sales of CHF500-600m (Berenberg CHF550m) in 2027. Roche will provide a 6-9 month bridge programme to ensure immediate access to drug. Quarterly enrolment data will be reported (number prescribed). Ex-US launches are expected beyond 2027 requiring a more mature data package," according to a Wednesday note. Analysts project full-year 2027 sales growth of 6% at constant exchange rates, as management continues to expect sales headwinds from Actemra erosion as well as the entry of Perjeta biosimilars in the European Union. Meanwhile, 2027 EPS is projected to rise 9% at constant currency, amid Berenberg's forecast of a 90-basis-point margin expansion alongside an expected 4% rise in research and development spending. Upcoming key catalysts highlighted by the research firm include the approval decision for fenebrutinib and phase 3 colitis data for afimkibart in the first half of 2027. Additionally, the second half of the same year is slated to bring phase 3 readouts for zemozimig in hemophilia and Columvi in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Within this context, Berenberg left the stock's hold rating and price target of 350 francs unchanged.
