The Vietnam Government Cryptographic Commission and the Military Electronics Telecom Group jointly released the country's first self-designed secure semiconductor platform and VGC v1.0, the first security chip. The chip has a package size of 10 mm x 10 mm, integrates about 300 million transistors, and is manufactured using a 28 nm CMOS process. The encryption algorithm independently developed by Vietnam is directly integrated into the chip hardware, and is mainly aimed at the government and defense sector.
