07:30 AM EST, 11/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi equities bounced back on Wednesday as investors weighed stronger corporate earnings, signs of continued diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between the US and Iran, and the outcome of the US midterm elections. At the close of trading, the Tadawul All Share Index was 1.65% in the green. Out of 273 stocks, 242 traded higher, while 24 were down. Qatar is continuing efforts to bridge differences between the US and Iran by facilitating the exchange of proposals, with both sides showing commitment to negotiations despite the recent escalation, Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said. "The continuation of negotiations, the parties' commitment to engaging in them, and their examination of the proposals on the table offer a "glimmer of hope" for reaching an agreement," Al Ansari added. In the US midterm elections, Democrats won control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. President Donald Trump said he was willing to accept the results and work with Democrats. Domestic corporate earnings also supported the market, with National Gas and Industrialization Co. (SASE:2080), d/b/a Gasco, and Alamar Foods Co. (SASE:6014) reporting higher third-quarter results. Their shares gained 9.98% and 9.96%, respectively. Shares in Wataniya Insurance Co. (SASE:8300) also ended the day 8.33% in the green as its net profit and insurance revenue surged year over year for the third quarter. Low-cost carrier Flynas' (SASE:4264) shares were up 3.10% as it reported higher revenue. Adjusted net profit, however, fell year over year. However, it flagged the risks that its fourth-quarter results would be "significantly affected" by the security risk at Saudi airports.
