10:10 AM EST, 11/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK Competition and Markets Authority launched a merger inquiry into NRG Fleet Services' acquisition of British vehicle leasing company Specialist Fleet Services, according to a Wednesday notice. The initial review period for the British vehicle hire and fleet management company's takeover will begin on Thursday, with the regulator due to decide by Jan. 6, 2027, whether to refer the merger for a phase two investigation.
