On November 4, local time, US President Trump made his first appearance after losing the midterm elections. He told the media at the White House that the election loss was in large part due to the conflict with Iran, but if it were to be repeated, he would still make the same decision. Trump said Iran must never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. When asked about Secretary of Defense Hegseth's stay, Trump said he would not replace Hegseth; he “did a very good job.”
