03:56 AM EST, 11/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's construction sector slumped for the second consecutive month in October amid subdued order books, high borrowing costs, and a jump in input costs, S&P Global said Thursday. The S&P Global Germany Construction PMI Total Activity Index fell to 41.6 from 43.5 in September 2026, marking the lowest reading since March 2025.
