04:36 AM EST, 11/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aker Solutions (AKSO.OL) secured a detailed design contract with Vietnamese turnkey contractor PTSC Mechanical and Construction. The Norwegian energy-focused engineering group said Thursday the sizeable contract will support QatarEnergy-operated redevelopment of the Maydan Mahzam oil field offshore Qatar. Aker Solutions' engineering teams in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Mumbai, India, will provide detailed design services for various offshore installations under the contract. Aker Solutions classifies a sizeable contract at between 500 million Norwegian kroner and 1.5 billion kroner.
