CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — Astec Industries Inc. (ASTE) on Thursday reported a loss of $12.2 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Chattanooga, Tennessee-based company said it had a loss of 53 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The maker of equipment for building, paving and mining posted revenue of $352.4 million in the period.

Astec Industries shares have fallen slightly more than 9% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 15% in the last 12 months.
