Latest Ask AI enhancements empower teams to run bulk data updates, automate contract request routing, and streamline Adobe Sign setups; Company previews MCP vision for external agents like Claude
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Agiloft, the global leader in data-first contract lifecycle management (CLM), today announced a powerful suite of new agentic capabilities within its Ask AI ecosystem, introducing three specialized AI agents designed to execute complex, multi-step tasks: the Bulk Update Agent, the Contract Request Agent, and the eSignature Agent for Adobe Acrobat Sign. Alongside these tools, Agiloft is introducing its Multi-Pane Document Viewer and its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server.

The deployment of these active automation layers targets a critical enterprise pain point exposed in recent Agiloft research, which revealed that procurement leaders estimate that at least 15% of supplier spend flows entirely outside contracted agreements. Only 36% of organizations automatically link sourcing outcomes to the resulting contract, leaving the clear majority reliant on manual data re-entry between disconnected software platforms. Agiloft's new suite of capabilities acts as an automated backstop to close that gap.
"The real promise of AI is reducing routine administrative work so teams can focus on preventing value leakage," said Jason Barnwell, Chief Product Officer at Agiloft. "Where Agiloft uniquely stands apart is our ability to blend autonomous AI action with the deepest, most configurable CLM data structure on the market. Our customers can deploy secure, agentic automation that fits perfectly into their existing operations, compliance guardrails, and workflows without changing how they do business."
Building on Agiloft's previously introduced agentic capabilities, including its automated AI-Assisted Contract Intake and conversational Guided Contract Updates, these new capabilities solve critical operational friction points across the contract lifecycle:
Agiloft is also advancing capabilities for its MCP Server. This architecture establishes a standard interface for external software tools to interact with the central contract repository. Anthropic's Claude is the first MCP client available in the current beta environment, but the server is built to support other enterprise tools upon final release. As MCP capabilities roll out, Agiloft will focus on helping customers access contract data through trusted AI experiences while preserving the permissions, controls, and security standards already built into their CLM environment. Agiloft plans to extend support to additional MCP clients over time.
Together, these updates reflect Agiloft's data-first approach to CLM, where contract data is structured, connected, and governed from the start. As enterprises adopt AI across more business processes, Agiloft is helping ensure contract intelligence can move with the business while maintaining the controls customers need.
Agiloft will continue to expand access to these capabilities as they move through rollout, with additional updates planned as part of its roadmap for connected, governed AI across the enterprise.
