12:35 AM EST, 11/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis (STLAM.MI, STLAP.PA) extended the closure of its assembly plant in Windsor in Ontario, Canada, for another week, The Globe and Mail reported Thursday, citing a company spokesperson. The European carmaker said the move is part of the ongoing review of manufacturing operations amid changes in consumer demand and tariffs. The Windsor site, which employs roughly 6,000 unionized workers building Chrysler minivans and Dodge Chargers, has been idled since September.
