02:17 AM EST, 11/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Britain's average house prices fell 0.6% month over month in October, after a revised 0.1% decline in September, according to data from Lloyds published Friday. Analysts expected zero growth for the month. On a yearly basis, average house prices in the UK were down 1.2%, compared with the revised 0.1% decrease in the previous month and the consensus estimate of a 0.3% fall. The average property price in the UK is now 296,285 pounds sterling.
