02:44 AM EST, 11/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Pharming Group (PHARM.AS) received the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency's approval to expand the use of Joenja to include children aged four to 11 weighing at least 27 kilograms with activated PI3K delta syndrome, or APDS. The Amsterdam-listed biotechnology company said Friday that the decision makes Joenja the first treatment authorized specifically for children with the rare primary immunodeficiency condition in the UK. It was previously approved in the UK for APDS patients aged 12 and older. The expanded approval covers twice-daily dosing of 40 milligrams and 50 milligrams, with the treatment expected to become available to eligible patients in February 2027.
