U.S. stocks were lower, with the Nasdaq Composite falling more than 400 points on Thursday.

Shares of J M Smucker Co (NYSE:SJM) rose sharply during Thursday's session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results.

Adjusted earnings per share $2.38, beating the $2.27 estimate. Net sales increased 7% to $2.339 billion from $2.186 billion a year earlier, topping the $2.322 billion estimate.

Smucker shares jumped 8.5% to $115.65 on Thursday.

• Rackspace Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:RXT) gained 32.2% to $1.78 following strong quarterly results.
• Krispy Kreme Inc (NASDAQ:DNUT) gained 29.3% to $3.86 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• GigaCloud Technology Inc (NASDAQ:GCT) gained 28.6% to $45.42 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued first-quarter sales guidance above estimates.
• LeMaitre Vascular Inc (NASDAQ:LMAT) jumped 20% to $109.61 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued first-quarter GAAP EPS guidance above estimates.
• IONQ Inc (NYSE:IONQ) gained 19.8% to $40.28 as the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued FY26 sales guidance above estimates.
• Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corp (NYSE:VAC) gained 17.2% to $67.93 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• Enerflex Ltd (NYSE:EFXT) gained 16.7% to $23.17 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results. Also, the signed an agreement to sell majority of its Australia, Indonesia and Thailand operations to INNIO Group.
• Warby Parker Inc (NYSE:WRBY) gained 16.4% to $25.34 following fourth-quarter results.
• Frontdoor Inc (NASDAQ:FTDR) gained 15.8% to $65.23 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• Primo Brands Corp (NYSE:PRMB) gained 13.7% to $22.33 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• Chime Financial Inc (NASDAQ:CHYM) gained 10.7% to $23.38 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results and issued FY26 sales guidance above estimates.
• Shake Shack Inc (NYSE:SHAK) gained 10.6% to $101.87 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• Accenture Plc (NYSE:ACN) rose 6.6% to $204.07 after the company announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Mistral AI designed to help organizations in Europe and around the world scale advanced AI.
