12:00 AM EDT, 04/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aeroports de Paris (ADP.PA), or ADP, said Thursday it plans to sell a 7.3% stake in India's GMR Airports in a deal valued at 924 million euros. The French airport operator agreed to sell a 3.4% stake to GMR Promoter Group for 256 million euros, with an option to sell an additional 3.9% stake for 285 million euros. GMR Promoter also agreed to an early purchase of convertible bonds for a nominal value of 301 million euros, along with accrued interest. The 3.9% stake sale option is exercisable no later than April 30, 2027, and the convertible bond purchase is set to be completed by March 31, 2027, at the latest. ADP, which acquired a 49% stake in GMR Airports in 2020, noted that its governance rights in GMR Airports and co-promoter status will remain unchanged following the transaction. ADP added that its board resolved to pay a special dividend of 0.8 euro per share for 2025 using the proceeds from the completed sale. The dividend will be proposed at the next shareholders' general meeting.
